Tree Lighting Appearances
Tree lightings are some of the purest holiday moments I get to be part of-the whole crowd counting down together, the hush right before the switch flips, and then that wave of light rolling over everyone's faces. My Tree Lighting Appearances are built around that shared breath of wonder.
For towns, shopping districts, or large venues, a Public Tree Lighting Appearance often means I arrive just before the ceremony to greet early guests, pose for photos, and help build excitement. Then I join the emcee on stage, lead the countdown, and turn toward the crowd as the tree comes alive. Afterward, I remain for more photos, short chats, and a few hearty "Merry Christmas" wishes.
Community Tree Lighting Appearances are often smaller but just as meaningful. Neighborhoods, HOAs, churches, and schools invite me to step into their traditions-sometimes riding in on a decorated vehicle, other times slipping quietly in to surprise the children. I might read a short story, say a few words about kindness and generosity, and help little hands press the button or pull the lever.
You and I plan the flow together ahead of time: where I arrive from, how long I mingle, any special acknowledgments you want me to make, and whether there will be structured photo time before or after the lights.
Organizers tell me that having an experienced, real‑bearded Santa at the tree makes the moment feel like a postcard come to life. Families take those photos, hang them on the fridge, and mark their calendars to come back the next year.
You bring the tree and the crowd; I bring the red suit, the countdown voice, and that extra bit of sparkle when the lights finally blink on.
